Single-pass conveyor dryers are used as ovens, roasters, toasters and coolers for a wide variety of applications. Gentle handling of the product is ensured, as there are no turnovers or drops during drying.

Single and dual plenum single-pass conveyor dryers are employed in the processing of snacks, granola cereals, dehydro-frozen fruits and vegetables, synthetic rubber, polymers such as SAP and PAN, chemicals and industrial products.

Single-pass conveyor dryers use independent temperature zones to customize the thermal process and maximize the efficiency of heat/mass transfer. As the product moves through the separate processing zones, it is exposed to controlled airflow and temperature conditions.

Precise control of airflow volume, temperature and humidity enables the development or preservation of product characteristics while keeping operating efficiency high and utility costs low. The dual plenum option provides the ultimate in moisture uniformity with consistent airflow delivery to both sides of the product bed.

Multi-pass conveyor dryers and ovens can efficiently dry and cool a variety of products including extruded pet food and aquafeed, ready-to-eat cereal, snacks, and food ingredients.

The multi-pass dryer features conveyor beds positioned one above the other to maximize capacity in the least amount of floor space. For ultimate process flexibility, independently controllable conveyor beds and separate heating zones allow for changes in retention time, bed depths, and temperatures.

Precise air flow for maximum uniformity

Superior product quality is ensured with zoned temperature control and alternating airflow. The dual plenum design provides the highest degree of uniformity, while smooth, continuous product flow is achieved with the multi-pass dryer’s first-in/first-out product control. Multiple conveyor beds allow reversing airflow through the bed.

AeroDry multi-stage conveyor dryers, ovens and coolers are the optimal solution for drying and cooling a variety of products including coated cereal, French fries and other potato products, sugar-infused fruits, onions, synthetic fibers and industrial products. Impingement ovens are the optimal solution for rapid and uniform baking, roasting, toasting, cooking, curing, drying and cooling. Impingement processing is ideal for many bakery applications as well as snacks, vegetables, refried beans, tobacco and other industrial products. In the fiber industry, impingement processing offers high drying and finishing efficiency for coated and non-permeable (nanofiber-based) webs.
